About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Solutions Architect to envision and architect advanced cloud computing solutions for the Department of National Defence and the Canadian Armed Forces across Canada.

As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will partner with customers, sales, and other AWS technical teams to craft highly secure and resilient architectures that address customer mission challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with customers to understand their mission challenges and develop cloud computing solutions that meet their needs.
  • Collaborate with sales and other AWS technical teams to develop and implement cloud computing solutions.
  • Design and implement highly secure and resilient architectures that meet customer requirements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud computing technologies and trends to ensure that solutions are innovative and effective.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of technology/software sales experience
  • 10+ years of professional or military experience
  • 5+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
  • Experience in the National Security, Defence, or Public Safety industries
  • Experience architecting solutions that require high levels of security and compliance
  • Government of Canada Secret Level II clearance or ability to obtain
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent
  • AWS Cloud Professional level certifications
  • Experience with hyperscale cloud providers
