Kitchen Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team at Tim Hortons. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, maintaining high standards of quality and service, and leading a team of kitchen staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, including training and development.
- Ensure that food is prepared and presented to the highest standards, meeting quality control and food safety guidelines.
- Requisition and manage kitchen supplies, including food, equipment, and cleaning materials.
- Establish and maintain efficient kitchen systems and procedures, including inventory management and waste reduction.
- Supervise and coordinate the preparation and presentation of food, including menu planning and specials.
- Monitor and control kitchen expenses, including labor, food, and supplies.
- Ensure that all kitchen staff are aware of and adhere to health and safety protocols, including proper food handling and storage procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments, including front-of-house and management, to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction.
- 1-2 years of experience in a kitchen management role, preferably in a fast-paced food service environment.
- Proven track record of leading a team and achieving high standards of quality and service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
- Knowledge of food safety and quality control procedures, including HACCP and allergen management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
