Job Title: ServiceNow Configuration Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Configuration Management Specialist to join our team at BRP. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for overseeing the ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and specializing in the Common Service Data Model (CSDM) framework.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Configure, manage, and optimize the CMDB to ensure data integrity and security.
  • Develop and implement data management and governance policies to ensure data accuracy and completeness within the CSDM framework.
  • Conduct audits on the CMDB to enhance accuracy and completeness of data.
  • Maintain the configuration management plan and identify and document relationships between IT infrastructure, services, and business services.
  • Provide guidance and training to ServiceNow users on CSDM-related topics, including CI management and data governance.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to identify new CIs and service relationships that should be added to the CSDM to improve visibility, reporting, and analysis.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years' experience working as a configuration manager or similar role.
  • 4+ years' working within ServiceNow, with a strong understanding of ITSM and SPM modules.
  • Excellent understanding of CSDM concepts and IT resource and configuration management principles.
  • Knowledge of network protocols, devices, and infrastructure components.
  • Data analysis and reporting skills, problem-solving, and troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Technical documentation skills and SPM knowledge is an asset.
