The Food Service Operations Manager at Lazeez Shawarma is responsible for overseeing the daily functions of our culinary establishment, ensuring exceptional service and operational efficiency.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma program lasting between 3 months to less than 1 year.
Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze financial statements to enhance and sustain the profitability of the restaurant.
  • Assess daily operational activities to ensure smooth functioning.
  • Monitor revenue streams to manage labor costs effectively.
  • Evaluate staff performance and provide necessary guidance.
  • Recruit and onboard new team members.
  • Establish work schedules for staff to optimize productivity.
  • Supervise and mentor team members to foster a positive work environment.
  • Conduct cash balancing and prepare financial reports, including balance sheets and cash reports.
  • Implement performance evaluations for staff development.
  • Calculate costs associated with products and services offered.
  • Organize and oversee inventory management.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Negotiate catering contracts and facility usage with clients.
  • Contribute to marketing strategies and their execution.
  • Lead and instruct team members in various tasks.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns promptly.
  • Manage events hosted at the venue.
