About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager of Supply Chain Operations to join our team at Mattel. As a key member of our Global Supply Chain division, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of our supply chain operations in Canada.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage supply chain relationships with top customers and suppliers in Canada.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the cost-effectiveness and capabilities of our supply chain operations in Canada.
  • Liaise with external parties, including customers, vendors, and industry groups, to represent Mattel in peer-to-peer meetings and joint projects.
  • Manage supply chain projects, including identifying key steps, timelines, and responsibilities.
  • Oversee the planning function to ensure high fill rates and effective inventory management.
  • Raise the profile and visibility of the planning function and ensure regular reporting and issue escalation.
  • Enhance reporting and processes in demand planning and provide management oversight of critical planning issues.
  • Conduct process reviews with team members and share best practices across Mattel planning teams.
Requirements
  • University degree required.
  • 8+ years of related business experience.
  • Experience with contemporary planning platforms, such as Blue Yonder and Anaplan.
  • Logistics/Supply Chain vocational qualification desired.
  • Proven ability to manage internal and external relationships.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills.
  • Excellent analytical and reasoning ability.
  • Proven track record of people leadership and culture building.
  • Demonstrated growth mindset and continuous learning.
