Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Government Grant Accountant to manage the financial aspects of government grants, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain grant budgets and forecasts
• Prepare and submit grant applications
• Monitor grant expenditures and ensure compliance with grant requirements
• Prepare and submit grant reports
• Analyze financial data and make recommendations
• Assist with the development of grant policies and procedures
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in government grant accounting
• Knowledge of government grant regulations and requirements
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
