Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse - Hospice Care

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at The Cascades Community & Retirement Living. As a Licensed Practical Nurse - Hospice, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to our residents and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing care in accordance with established policies, physician's orders, and resident plans of care.
  • Ensure the safekeeping and control of medications and narcotics.
  • Create a comfortable and safe environment for residents.
  • Optimize each resident's potential to achieve or maintain maximum functional ability.
  • Collaborate with the interprofessional team to provide effective clinical care.
Requirements:
  • Diploma in Practical Nursing.
  • Current registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the College of Nurses BC.
  • Successful annual completion of RAI MDS certification.
  • Current First Aid with CPR.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Long Term Care Experience.
