Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Lawlor Enterprises Inc.

Job Summary:

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards, and supervising a team of food service counter attendants and food preparers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient service delivery
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, maintaining a clean and safe work environment
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates, ensuring financial accountability and responsible resource allocation
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns, providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues promptly
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, analyzing data to inform business decisions
  • Establish work schedules, ensuring adequate staffing and coverage
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain a high level of productivity
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges
