About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada Inc. in a permanent full-time position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Test and maintain electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance.
  • Instruct and train apprentices in electrical maintenance and repair techniques.
  • Maintain, repair, test, and install electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries, and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems.
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial, electrical, and electronic control systems and other related devices.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep accurate maintenance records.
  • Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to determine the layout of industrial electrical equipment installations.
Requirements
  • Industrial Electrician Trade Certification.
  • Industrial Electrician Red Seal Certificate.
  • Electrician Trade Certification.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work overtime and meet tight deadlines.
