Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they are equipped to provide excellent service to our customers.
  • Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
  • Hire and Manage Staff: Hire and manage food service staff, ensuring that we have a skilled and motivated team in place to deliver exceptional service.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare Budget and Reports: Prepare budget and cost estimates, as well as reports on sales, stock, and wastage, to inform business decisions.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Establish work schedules for staff, ensuring that we have adequate coverage to meet customer demand.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment is preferred.
  • Work Setting: This role is based in a fast-paced food service establishment, requiring the ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of energy.
  • Physical Demands: This role requires standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking, as well as the ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
