Paving Operations Labourer Job Description

Via Pave Ltd. is seeking a skilled Paving Operations Labourer to join our team. As a Paving Operations Labourer, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials, operating mobile and tower cranes, and performing routine maintenance work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials
  • Operating mobile and tower cranes to lift, move, position, or place equipment and materials
  • Erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades
  • Mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Leveling earth to fine grade specifications
  • Paving and raking asphalt
  • Cleaning and piling salvaged materials
  • Performing routine maintenance work
  • Removing rubble and other debris at construction sites
  • Directing traffic at or near construction sites
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a team environment
