Job Title: Labourer - Paving Operations

Via Pave Ltd. is seeking a skilled Labourer - Paving Operations to join our team. As a Labourer - Paving Operations, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to paving operations, including loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials, operating mobile and tower cranes, and mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials
  • Operate mobile and tower cranes to lift, move, position, or place equipment and materials
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications
  • Pave and rake asphalt
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials
  • Perform routine maintenance work
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment
