Job Title: Senior Municipal Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Municipal Infrastructure Engineer to lead our Municipal Infrastructure Engineering Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of municipal infrastructure projects, including asset management studies, road and utility renewals, stormwater management, and water and wastewater capacity studies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of engineers and technicians in the planning and execution of municipal infrastructure projects
  • Develop and implement project management plans, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external clients to ensure project deliverables meet client expectations
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members on project-related matters
  • Oversee project budgets and financial management to ensure financial objectives are met
  • Ensure compliance with relevant local, provincial, and federal government regulations
Requirements:
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) license in the Province of Ontario
  • Minimum two (2) years of management experience in municipal infrastructure engineering
  • Extensive knowledge of principles and practices of proposal submissions, project management, risk management, and contract administration
  • Strong understanding of engineering, planning, environmental, and construction theory, concepts, and regulations related to municipal infrastructure engineering
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
