Job Title: Senior Municipal Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Municipal Infrastructure Engineer to lead our Municipal Infrastructure Engineering Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of municipal infrastructure projects, including asset management studies, renewal of roads, utilities, sewers, and mains, stormwater management and drainage, traffic management, water and wastewater capacity studies, and water distribution network design.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of engineers and technicians in the planning, execution, and delivery of municipal infrastructure projects
  • Develop and implement project management plans, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify project requirements and develop solutions
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members on project-related matters
  • Ensure compliance with relevant local, provincial, and federal government regulations
  • Manage project budgets and financial performance
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
Requirements:
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) license in the Province of Ontario
  • Minimum 2 years of management experience in municipal infrastructure engineering
  • Extensive knowledge of principles and practices of proposal submissions, project management, risk management, and contract administration
  • Solid understanding of engineering, planning, environmental, and construction theory, concepts, and regulations related to the field of work
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
