Job Title: Senior Municipal Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Municipal Infrastructure Engineer to lead our Municipal Infrastructure Engineering Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of municipal infrastructure projects, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of engineers and technicians in the planning and execution of municipal infrastructure projects
  • Develop and implement project management strategies to ensure timely and within-budget delivery
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and develop long-term strategic priorities for the department
  • Provide technical and project management expertise to support project delivery
  • Oversee group budgets and financial management to ensure financial objectives are met
Requirements:
  • Minimum two (2) years of management experience
  • Extensive knowledge of principles and practices of proposal submissions, project management, risk management, and contract administration
  • Solid understanding of engineering, planning, environmental, and construction theory, concepts, and regulations related to the field of work
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Ontario Health and Safety Act as it relates to supervision of staff and field work
