Role Overview

We are seeking a Treasury Operations Manager to become a vital part of our expanding team.

Key Responsibilities

Cash Management

  1. Generate consolidated cash flow forecasts for the organization; effectively communicate with various business units to assess cash requirements and availability.
  2. Oversee liquidity management, including wire transfers, special transactions, foreign currency requirements, and intercompany loans.
  3. Collaborate with banking and accounts receivable/payable teams on payment and bank account matters.
  4. Manage letters of credit and credit facilities; monitor compliance with covenants and prepare quarterly reports.

Financing

  1. Develop a comprehensive financing strategy to address liquidity needs and debt maturities.
  2. Handle short-term debt financing requirements, including commercial paper and credit facilities.
  3. Assist reporting and Investor Relations teams with public disclosures related to treasury activities.

Banking Relationships

  1. Cultivate relationships with syndicate banks.
  2. Evaluate bank syndication performance.
  3. Assess new proposals and strategies from banking partners.

Derivatives & Risk Management

  1. Create and maintain currency forecasts to mitigate foreign currency risks.
  2. Prepare financial statements and board reports regarding currency exposure.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Accounting is required.

Essential Skills:

  1. Extensive Treasury experience (minimum of 10 years).
  2. In-depth knowledge of cash management practices.
  3. Strong understanding of accounting ratios.
  4. Bilingual proficiency in French and English; bilingualism is essential for candidates in Quebec due to regular interactions with English-speaking colleagues across Canada.
  5. Canadian work experience is not mandatory, but candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.
