At Intact Financial Corporation, we're seeking a highly skilled Treasury Manager to oversee group treasury management activities. This role is ideal for a strong team player with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor capital markets and provide intelligence on market opportunities.
  • Support the treasury director in accessing capital markets; common share, preferred shares, debt, and hybrid issuances.
  • Ensure all regulatory filings related to treasury are in place.
  • Maintain relationships with banks for banking and credit arrangements.
  • Prepare the group's consolidated cash flow forecasts.
  • Manage liquidity, special transactions, foreign currency needs, intercompany loans, and maintain letters of credit and credit facilities.
  • Develop currency policy and monitor all currency exposure.
  • Perform M&A accretion analysis and lead WACC, intrinsic value, and share buyback analyses.
  • Develop strategies to reduce treasury-related costs.

Requirements:

  • 5 or more years of relevant experience in Treasury.
  • Strong knowledge of financial markets and treasury operations, preferably within insurance/financial services.
  • Strong team management and leadership skills.
  • Strong skills in presenting to and interacting with senior leadership.
  • Public company reporting experience.
