Job Title: Specialty Foods Baker

We are seeking a skilled Specialty Foods Baker to join our team at Desi Swag Corporation. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory treats for our customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Prepare pastry for special occasions, such as weddings and birthdays.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies.
  • Bake mixed dough and batters.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
  • Prepare special orders.
  • Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods.
  • Train staff.
  • Organize and maintain inventory.
Requirements:
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Work Environment:
