Position: Family Lawyer

Location: Various Locations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage family law cases independently.
  • Address a broad spectrum of family law issues, including divorce settlements, spousal support, and division of assets.
  • Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and court trials.
  • Guide support staff and liaise with clients effectively.
  • Prepare legal documents and present applications in chambers.
  • Engage in negotiations during mediations and represent clients in court.
  • Handle all phases of case management from initiation to resolution.
  • Experience in general civil litigation is beneficial.

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of active experience in family law within British Columbia.
  • Proven ability to manage complex cases independently.
  • Strong analytical skills, work ethic, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Commitment to becoming an integral part of the local community.
  • Passion for expanding practice and aspiring towards partnership opportunities.

Compensation:

  • Competitive base salary based on years of experience.
