About Our Client: Our client is a prominent full-service legal firm with a strong presence across various regions. Position: Family Lawyer

Location: Multiple Locations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage family law cases independently from inception to resolution.
  • Address a variety of family law issues, including but not limited to separation agreements, spousal support, and property division.
  • Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and trials.
  • Provide guidance to support staff while receiving instructions from clients.
  • Prepare legal documents and advocate in chamber applications.
  • Engage in negotiations during mediations and represent clients in court proceedings.
  • Oversee all facets of case management throughout the legal process.
  • Prior experience in general civil litigation is considered an advantage.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of active experience in family law practice within British Columbia.
  • Proven ability to manage complex cases and files autonomously.
  • Exemplary judgment, strong work ethic, and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to becoming an integral part of the community served.
  • A passion for expanding practice and aspirations for partnership.

Compensation:

  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience.
