Civil Litigation Attorney

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Litigation Lawyer to join our team at MJB Lawyers. As a key member of our Litigation team, you will be responsible for providing expert legal services and advice in a variety of areas of the law, with a focus on plaintiff-oriented litigation.
Key Responsibilities- Be a member of good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia.
- Possess at least 2 years of relevant experience in civil litigation.
- Have excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and be able to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues.
- Be extremely detail-oriented and able to manage a high-volume caseload with minimal oversight.
- Have sound judgment and be able to make informed decisions in complex legal matters.
- Be able to run and organize their caseload from beginning to end, with little oversight.
- Have strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex legal issues and develop effective solutions.
- Have strong business acumen, with verbal negotiation, interpersonal, and drafting skills.
- Be self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Be able to communicate with clients about updates before, during, and after receiving a file.
