Electrical Services Account Executive

As an Electrical Services Account Executive, you will play a key role in driving business growth and development across all Plan Group lines. Your primary focus will be on securing new contracts, nurturing existing client relationships, and identifying opportunities for expansion.

To excel in this role, you must possess strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively influence clients, maximize profits, and drive results. You will be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identifying prospective customers and key decision-makers through direct outreach methods.
  • Maintaining and nurturing existing client relationships, exploring new market opportunities, and achieving sales targets.
  • Developing and executing strategic action plans to meet individual and company goals.
  • Representing the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
  • Cultivating relationships with decision-makers to generate interest in Energy Solutions and EV Infrastructure.
  • Conducting site visits for meetings, presentations, and technical assessments.
  • Addressing customer management needs by collaborating with operations to deliver solutions.
  • Coordinating with internal sales support to organize customer information and create sales proposals.
  • Assisting in managing opportunity flow, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Supporting the completion of customer Requests for Quotations (RFQs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
  • Preparing and delivering client quotations, defining scopes of work, and recommending value-added services.
  • Regularly reporting on opportunities and progress to the Senior Management Team.
  • Gathering and analyzing market and competitor data to enhance our positioning and strategy.
  • Driving sales growth by promoting products and services to existing clients and developing new accounts.
  • Providing post-sale support to resolve client issues and assist major accounts.
  • Ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, and quality system.
  • Collaborating with the Purchasing department to obtain pricing for required parts.
  • Managing and coordinating projects with Field Technicians.
  • Identifying and pursuing integrated business opportunities across the company.
  • Utilizing positive client relationships to assist in Accounts Receivable collections when needed.
  • Performing job functions in compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Fulfilling other duties as assigned by Management.
Requirements:
  • Red Seal Electrical License or relevant certification is an asset.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Business Development & Account Management within the Construction and Services industries.
  • Experience with Electric Vehicle (EV) systems and National Accounts is preferred.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated systematic and organized approach to multitasking.
  • Ability to work independently, completing tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Track record of meeting deadlines and managing heavy workloads effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, presenting information confidently and professionally.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment of a rapidly growing company, especially in new markets.
  • Collaborative and engaging team player with strong interpersonal skills.
