The ideal candidate will possess a post-secondary degree or diploma in planning, land management, or public administration, complemented by practical experience in land use planning and legislative research.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute provincial Crown land planning and operational land use policies.
  • Engage with stakeholders to promote effective management of Crown land resources.
  • Assess and interpret legislation, regulations, and planning policies to provide informed management recommendations.
  • Convey information clearly and effectively to diverse stakeholders and decision-makers.
Required Qualifications:

Essential:

  • A post-secondary degree or diploma in planning, land management, or public administration.
  • Proven experience in land use planning and policy interpretation.
  • Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal abilities.

Preferred:

  • Basic understanding of Geographic Information Systems as applied to land use planning.
