As a technology-driven organization, we are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to enhance our team.

Position Overview:

In the role of Quality Assurance Engineer at FTS, you will report directly to the Head of Data Management, tasked with ensuring that our features adhere to quality benchmarks prior to reaching the end user. Your main duty will be to test, oversee, and guarantee the quality of our technological solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement application and software testing protocols.
  • Ensure comprehensive quality assurance throughout all stages of the software development lifecycle, from requirement gathering to deployment.
  • Monitor the functionality of systems and software.
  • Confirm that our offerings are fully operational and provide quality assurance for software products.
  • Conduct automated testing and troubleshoot various tasks that contribute to the development process.
  • Advise on best practices and optimizations during testing and bug resolution.
  • Collaborate with development and business teams to formulate test plans and innovative strategies for identifying bugs and vulnerabilities in user-facing applications.
  • Establish and maintain rigorous reporting and automated monitoring systems.
  • Incorporate feedback and implement changes whenever feasible.
Required Experience and Skills:
  • Over 7 years of experience in a comparable role.
  • Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, information systems, or system analysis.
  • Proven experience in quality assurance testing.
  • Strong familiarity with Jira, Scrum, and Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent personnel management, time management, and organizational abilities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with a keen attention to detail.
  • Analytical mindset for troubleshooting.
  • Basic understanding of SQL.
  • Tricentis certification and/or relevant experience is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with automation tools, such as Selenium or similar, is a plus.
  • Management experience is beneficial.
  • Experience in the travel industry is a plus.
  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English is advantageous.
