About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior or Intermediate Municipal Civil Engineer to join our team at Parsons Corporation. As a key member of our Critical Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for leading the design and delivery of municipal infrastructure projects from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of municipal roads and linear infrastructure projects, including water, sanitary, and storm systems, drainage, and grading.
  • Prepare and review technical solutions, engineering designs, and project deliverables, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with project managers, sub-consultants, and contractors to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Mentor junior engineers and technologists to develop their skills and expertise.
  • Provide construction oversight, including engineering field reviews and site instructions.

Requirements

  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in good standing with 10+ years of design experience in Lower Mainland municipal projects.
  • Extensive technical expertise in civil engineering principles and municipal infrastructure design.
  • Expert working knowledge of contract documentation, including MMCD and CCDC.
  • Excellent knowledge of industry practices and regulations.
  • Proficient in working with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
