Job Title: Heavy-Duty Cleaner

GDI Service (Canada) Ltd. is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Heavy-Duty Cleaner to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Sanitizing: Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Waste Management: Empty trash cans and other waste containers to prevent litter and maintain a clean workspace.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, and heavy debris.
  • Physical Demands: Work in a physically demanding environment, lifting up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and working under pressure.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience an asset, but not required.
  • Work Setting: School or educational institution/establishment.
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, flexibility, organized, and reliability.
Working Conditions:

Work under pressure, perform repetitive tasks, and work in a physically demanding environment.

Language:

English.

Hours:

37.5 hours per week.
