About Your Role as a Configuration & Data Management Specialist:

Reporting to the Configuration & Data Management Section Chief, you will play a vital role in managing data flow between the Department of National Defence (DND) and various L3Harris services and subcontractors.

  • Your Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Actively participating in the management of project documentation.
  • Effectively managing both physical and electronic databases.
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable L3Harris policies and procedures.
  • Coordinating archiving activities, including deposits, retrieval, and inventory maintenance.
  • Providing valuable feedback to continuously improve business processes.
  • Taking on other duties and special projects as assigned.

Required Skills and Experiences:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in documentation management.
  • Proven experience in document management and control, including the use of commercial software tools.
  • Strong administrative and computer skills.
  • Ability to multi-task effectively and prioritize responsibilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to consistency.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in Configuration Management within the defense or aeronautical industry is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Enovia PLM and SAP systems would be an asset.
  • Strong soft skills, including bilingual proficiency, teamwork, and proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word and Excel).

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Government of Canada Reliability status and Secret Level 2/NATO SECRET security clearance.
  • Must meet the requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
