As a Configuration Management Specialist at L3Harris Technologies, you will play a critical role in managing requests for data export and import from the Department of National Defence and various L3 Harris services and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the management of project documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Manage physical and electronic databases, maintaining up-to-date records and ensuring data integrity.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of and ensure compliance with applicable L3Harris policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate archiving activities, including deposits, retrieval, and inventory maintenance.
  • Provide constructive feedback to support business process development and improvement.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as required.

Required Skills and Experiences:

  • 2 years of experience in documentation management.
  • Experience in document management and control, including the use of commercial software tools.
  • Strong administrative and computer skills, with the ability to multitask and work independently.
  • Attention to detail and consistency are essential.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to work with minimal direction.
  • Experience in Configuration Management in a defense or aeronautic environment is an asset.
  • Knowledge of the Enovia PLM and SAP systems is also an asset.
  • Soft skills, including bilingualism, strong team player, and proficiency in MS Office Suite, with an emphasis on Word and Excel.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada Reliability status and Secret Level 2/NATO SECRET security clearance.
  • Must be eligible to meet the requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
  • For on-site positions, a car or carpooling is required due to our location's inaccessibility by public transport.
