Jardeg is seeking skilled Pipefitter Lead Hands, Journeypersons, and Apprentices to enhance our operations.

The Bonnyville Fabrication Shop specializes in the fabrication and installation of process piping, structural steel, and skid packages tailored for the oil and gas sector throughout Alberta. With over 40 years of experience, our Bonnyville team is dedicated to providing exceptional material requirements and technical services for industrial construction projects. We take pride in our long-standing commitment to the Bonnyville community, actively supporting local initiatives that enrich community life.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in fabrication and assembly shop environments is an asset.

Journeyperson Responsibilities:

  • Layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems for various processes.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in the operation of piping system components through measuring, cutting, threading, grooving, and bending pipes, valves, and fittings.
  • Utilize testing equipment to identify system leaks and troubleshoot fitting issues.

Apprentice Responsibilities:

  • Follow instructions from forepersons, lead hands, or journeypersons.
  • Assist in the layout, assembly, fabrication, maintenance, and repair of piping systems.
  • Maintain tools, work areas, and equipment in a clean and organized manner.

Lead Hand Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the functional operation of piping system components through various techniques.
  • Lead a small team of employees in the same trade, ensuring smooth and safe operations.

Requirements:

  • Journeyperson Certification is mandatory.
  • Construction Safety Training Systems - 09 (CSTS-09) Certification is required.
  • WHMIS 2015 Certification.
  • ESC Mobile Elevating Work Platforms Certification.
  • ESC Fall Arrest Certification.
  • Successful completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test.
