Role OverviewWe are seeking a Lead AI/ML Solutions Engineer to join our dynamic Cloud and Software (CSW) Group. This position involves collaborating with both local and international teams to define, design, and develop advanced data products and AI functionalities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize user, device, and service data to prepare for training, testing, and scoring with machine learning models.
- Shape data to enhance AI capabilities within our core platform, supporting various cloud solutions.
- Establish the technical vision and strategic roadmap for the machine learning team.
- Guide and mentor junior engineers, fostering their technical development.
- Stay informed on the latest advancements in machine learning and identify opportunities for implementation.
- Optimize machine learning pipelines and models to enhance quality while minimizing computational costs.
- Collaborate with business partners to understand objectives and translate them into actionable technical requirements.
- Work alongside a diverse, globally distributed team, including Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and Project Managers.
- Delegate tasks effectively, ensuring clarity in expectations for team members.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 8+ years of relevant software development experience.
- 5+ years of experience in developing production-grade machine learning applications.
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with tools such as Spark, Pandas, Scikit-learn, PyTorch, and TensorFlow.
- Experience in building and deploying machine learning models throughout their lifecycle.
- Knowledge of ML engineering tools for data acquisition, cleaning, and feature engineering.
- Experience collaborating with data professionals and communicating effectively with stakeholders.
- Familiarity with various machine learning models for tasks such as regression, classification, and anomaly detection.
- Experience in mentoring junior engineers.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in building scalable ML pipelines on cloud platforms like AWS.
- Advanced SQL skills for data exploration.
- Familiarity with version control systems and CI/CD practices.
- Experience with Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
- Knowledge related to NLP, LLMs, and Generative AI applications is advantageous.
