Role Overview and RequirementsAs a Workstation AI Solutions Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing pre-sales support to clients and sales teams by offering expert advice on workstation hardware configurations that leverage current AI tools to enhance performance.
- Conducting hands-on laboratory work to assess performance for various AI training and inference workflows (such as image training, large language modeling, MLPerf benchmarks, etc.) and identifying hardware configurations that mitigate bottlenecks.
- Creating and delivering presentations and whitepapers that guide customers in selecting appropriate AI hardware and solutions.
- Supporting additional AI solution initiatives within the workstation division, including testing customer workflows on Lenovo hardware in our labs.
- Establishing key relationships with industry leaders such as NVIDIA, Intel, and AMD.
- Understanding and facilitating key ISV's AI integration and exploring ways to accelerate these processes for our customers' benefit.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Over 8 years of experience in data science and/or AI technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Deep understanding of AI/ML concepts, algorithms, and methodologies.
- Basic knowledge of computer architecture.
- Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems, BIOS, and device drivers.
- Self-motivated individual capable of navigating ambiguity and establishing direction.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs.
- Proficiency in computer hardware assembly.
This position is based in our North America Headquarters. Our office has adopted a hybrid work model, allowing for 3 days onsite and 2 days remote work.
