Role OverviewAs a Workstation AI Solutions Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing pre-sales assistance to clients and sales teams by offering insights on workstation hardware configurations that leverage current AI technologies to enhance performance.
- Conducting hands-on laboratory evaluations to assess performance across various AI training and inference workflows, identifying hardware setups that minimize performance bottlenecks.
- Creating and delivering presentations and technical documents that guide customers in selecting the right AI hardware and solutions.
- Supporting additional AI initiatives within the workstation division, including testing customer workflows on Lenovo hardware in our labs.
- Establishing and nurturing relationships with key industry partners such as NVIDIA, Intel, and AMD.
- Understanding and facilitating the integration of key Independent Software Vendors' AI solutions to optimize benefits for our customers.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Over 8 years of experience in data science and/or AI technologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- In-depth knowledge of AI/ML principles, algorithms, and methodologies.
- Basic familiarity with computer architecture.
- Understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems, BIOS, and device drivers.
- Self-motivated individual capable of navigating ambiguity and establishing direction.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs.
- Proficiency in computer hardware assembly.
This position is based in our North America Headquarters. Our work environment supports a hybrid model, with three days onsite and two days remote.
