Job Title: Registered Practical Nurse

Verve Senior Living is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our team. As an RPN at Verve, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to our residents, promoting their independence, and enhancing their overall quality of life.

Accountability Objective:

As an RPN, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing direct resident care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and assisting with daily living activities.
  • Assessing the needs of individual residents and developing personalized care plans to promote their independence and well-being.
  • Supervising and guiding care staff, ensuring that residents receive high-quality care and support.
  • Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives and contributing to the development of policies and procedures.
Background and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of grade 12 education and a recognized nursing license (RPN licensing) in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
  • Certification in Emergency First Aid, CPR, and AED.
  • Previous experience working as an RPN in a healthcare setting is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams.
  • A positive attitude, with a commitment to providing exceptional care and service.
Key Responsibilities:
