Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Slave Lake Accommodations LTD. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address any customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Food Order Management: Prepare food order summaries for the chef, and supervise the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys.
  • Work Scheduling: Establish work schedules for staff, and ensure that they are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
