Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Truck Driver-Supervisor to join our team at Ahluwalia'z Transport Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our transportation department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports on production and other key performance indicators.
  • Team Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our transportation team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Training and Development
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our transportation team members.
  • Dispatch and Route Management
    • Coordinate the dispatch of bus drivers and monitor routes to ensure optimal efficiency and safety.
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed and implemented within the transportation department.
  • Personnel Management
    • Recommend personnel actions, including promotions, transfers, and disciplinary measures, as needed.
  • Logistics and Supply Chain
    • Coordinate repairs and rentals of equipment and supplies, and requisition or order materials as required.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a transportation or logistics role
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Strong organizational and time management skills
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
    • Proficiency in MS Access, MS Excel, MS Office, and MS Outlook
Working Conditions

    • 30 to 40 hours per week
