Position Overview

As a Culinary Assistant at Noodles Express, you will play a vital role in maintaining the efficiency and cleanliness of our kitchen environment. Your responsibilities will include a variety of tasks that ensure our kitchen operates smoothly and safely.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dish Management: Transport clean dishes, utensils, and other items to dining areas and set tables for service.
  • Sanitation Duties: Clean and sanitize kitchen items, including dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units.
  • Dining Area Maintenance: Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to ensure a tidy dining experience.
  • Food Preparation Support: Assist in portioning and wrapping food items, as well as washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits.
  • Kitchen Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen by sanitizing work surfaces, cupboards, and equipment.
  • Supply Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in appropriate areas, ensuring everything is organized and accessible.
  • Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash regularly to maintain a hygienic environment.
  • Floor Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to uphold cleanliness standards.
Work Environment

This position is located in an urban area, and public transportation is readily available for commuting. The role is physically demanding, requiring standing for extended periods and the ability to handle weights of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).

Qualifications
  • No formal education is required; we will provide training.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is an asset but not mandatory.
Employment Details

This is a permanent position with a work schedule of 30 to 40 hours per week. The primary language of work is English.
