Ultrasound Technologist Opportunity

Cobourg X-Ray & Ultrasound is seeking a skilled and motivated Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at our clinic in Cobourg. This is a great opportunity for those who enjoy working in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform a range of ultrasound duties, including abdomen, O.B./gyn., small parts, MSK, and breast procedures.
  • Ensure patient safety and preparation are correct prior to each scan, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to quality control standards.
  • Prepare patients for examinations, observe during procedures, and summon medical aid when necessary.
  • Perform equipment maintenance and quality control assessments as required.
  • Prepare and organize reports as needed.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year of related experience.
  • CMRTO certification.
  • Ability to perform all types of ultrasound procedures on various equipment.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuing education and training.
