Job Title: Travel Consultant

Maritime Travel Inc is seeking a skilled Travel Consultant to join our team. As a Travel Consultant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and sales expertise to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Transactions: Attend to other financial transactions, such as plane tickets and travel insurance, ensuring seamless travel experiences for our clients.
  • Product Recommendations: Recommend suitable travel products and services to meet our clients' needs and preferences.
  • Market Research: Investigate new travel areas, hotels, and other amenities to stay up-to-date on the latest industry trends.
  • Customer Service: Manage difficult situations with customers, providing empathetic and professional support to resolve issues.
  • Sales and Marketing: Utilize principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services, including marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
  • Travel Information: Provide customers with travel information and other details such as regulations, duty-free allowances, health risks and requirements, attractions, and special events.
  • Reservation and Ticketing: Make transportation and accommodation reservations using computerized reservation and ticketing systems.
  • Customer Support: Provide travel information to clients regarding destinations, transportation, accommodation options, and travel costs.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the travel industry.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
