Warehouse Supervisor Job Description

GALAXY FLOORING AND RENOVATION is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure efficient workflow and meet productivity goals.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on warehouse operations, inventory levels, and other key metrics.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Train workers in duties and policies, and oversee the coordination, assignment, and review of work.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization.
Requirements:
  • Fast-paced environment with ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to handle heavy loads and maintain attention to detail.
  • Excellent written communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Flexibility, organization, reliability, and proactivity.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment with 30 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.
