About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Bilingual Sales Representative to join our team at OTIP RAEO. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying customer needs and building relationships to drive sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sell insurance products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects, answering incoming communications, and following up on leads.
  • Create a trusting environment that fosters new sales opportunities and retention of existing business.
  • Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to overall business improvement.
  • Resolve customer inquiries and ensure minimal customer effort.
  • Process account changes, maintain customer documentation, and prepare correspondence.
  • Tackle complex insurance-related cases and utilize resources to achieve full resolution.
  • Maintain accurate logs of quotes, sales, and other measurements for monthly reporting.
  • Stay up-to-date on company underwriting guidelines and market changes.

Requirements

  • AMF license or willingness to obtain within 60 days.
  • Minimum three years' experience in personal lines, automobile, and property insurance.
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to deal with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle customer issues positively.
  • Superior time management and organizational skills to handle competing priorities.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Ability to communicate in English and French.
