Position Overview

As a Food and Beverage Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the dining services at our establishment. This permanent position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week and proficiency in English.

Key Responsibilities
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets to assess costs related to food, beverages, and supplies.
  • Operational Oversight: Evaluate daily operations and implement effective service procedures.
  • Financial Accountability: Balance cash and prepare financial reports.
  • Performance Evaluation: Conduct regular performance reviews for team members.
  • Inventory Control: Organize and maintain inventory levels.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and liquor laws.
  • Supplier Negotiation: Negotiate with suppliers for food and service contracts.
  • Customer Engagement: Address customer inquiries and complaints effectively.
  • Marketing Participation: Contribute to marketing strategies and their execution.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise a team of 3-4 staff members.
Qualifications

Education: Completion of College/CEGEP is preferred.

Experience: A minimum of 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in food and beverage management.

Skills and Competencies
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with MS Access, Excel, Office, Outlook, PowerPoint, Windows, and Word.
  • Work Environment: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
  • Personal Attributes: Dependable, organized, and a strong team player with excellent communication skills.
