Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual for the role of Lead Wood Products Assembly at Kingswood Interiors Ltd. This permanent position offers a dynamic work environment where attention to detail and craftsmanship are paramount.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Assembling various wood products including window sashes, doors, boxes, pallets, ladders, and barrels
  • Recording inspection data for products
  • Interpreting blueprints, specifications, and production drawings
  • Packaging items for shipping and distribution
  • Reinforcing assembled products using dowelling or other supports
  • Installing hardware such as knobs and hinges
  • Conducting quality inspections of wood products
  • Identifying defective parts for repair
  • Trimming, smoothing, and shaping surfaces
  • Making minor adjustments and repairs as needed
Technical Skills

Proficiency in the following computer and technology tools is required:

  • MS Excel
  • MS Office
  • MS Word
  • Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines
Equipment Experience

Experience with the following tools and machinery is essential:

  • Power tools
  • Small hand tools
  • Nail guns
  • Precision measuring instruments

The role demands:

  • A fast-paced work environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Physical capabilities including bending, crouching, and kneeling
  • A combination of sitting, standing, and walking
  • Hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
