Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Wood Products Assembly Lead to join our team at Kingswood Interiors Ltd. This permanent position involves working in a dynamic environment focused on the assembly of various wood products.

The work site is characterized by:

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Assembling wood products including window sashes, doors, boxes, pallets, ladders, and barrels
  • Recording information on inspected products
  • Interpreting blueprints, written specifications, and production drawings
  • Packing items for shipping and distribution
  • Reinforcing assembled products with doweling or other supports
  • Installing hardware such as knobs and hinges
  • Inspecting wood products to ensure they meet quality standards
  • Marking defective parts or products for repair
  • Trimming, smoothing, and shaping surfaces
  • Making minor adjustments and repairs
Technical Skills

Proficiency in the following computer and technology tools is required:

  • MS Excel
  • MS Office
  • MS Word
  • Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines
Equipment Experience

Experience with the following tools and machinery is essential:

  • Power tools
  • Small hand tools
  • Nail guns
