Job Title: Wood Product Assembler

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Wood Product Assembler to join our team at Mayfair Lumber Sales Ltd. As a Wood Product Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling wood products such as window sashes, doors, boxes, pallets, ladders, and barrels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble wood products according to specifications
  • Make minor adjustments and repairs to wood products
  • Record information on products inspected
  • Pack items for shipping and distribution
  • Reinforce assembled products with dowelling or other supports
  • Inspect wood products for conformance to quality standards
  • Mark defective parts or products for repair
  • Trim, smooth, and shape surfaces

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
