Job Overview

The Human Resources Coordinator oversees the implementation of human resources policies, procedures, and programs for the designated facility. This role encompasses various functional areas including departmental development, Human Resources Information Systems, employee relations, training and development, benefits administration, compensation management, organizational development, and recruitment.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensures compliance with legal requirements and government reporting regulations impacting human resources functions by maintaining updated policies and procedures.
- Collaborates with the Compensation team to perform wage surveys within the labor market and analyze salary data to establish a competitive compensation framework.
- Manages the recruitment process, including interviewing, testing, and selecting candidates for open positions.
- Organizes orientation sessions for new hires and new leaders.
- Facilitates training and cross-training initiatives within the organization.
- Assists in organizing events aimed at enhancing employee morale and fostering a positive company culture.
- Ensures that facility leadership is well-trained and informed about all performance management processes, including reviews, goal setting, and development planning.
- Works alongside the corporate HR team to investigate and provide guidance on resolving employee relations matters.
- Drafts responses to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.

- Prepares documentation for employee separations and conducts exit interviews to understand the reasons for departures.
- Generates reports and suggests strategies to minimize absenteeism and turnover rates.
- Represents the organization at personnel-related hearings and investigations as necessary.
- Manages requests for temporary labor to address staffing needs within the facility.

Qualifications

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a human resources role, ideally within a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related business field is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities.
- Familiarity with ADP systems, including E-Time and Enterprise, is advantageous.
- Flexibility to work within a 24/7 operational environment.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
