Job Overview

As a key member of the RAM (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety) division at CS GROUP, your role will encompass the following duties:

  • Execute all necessary RAMS tasks at various levels including system, subsystem, and equipment.
  • Conduct RAMS evaluations as per established guidelines and specific requirements agreed upon with the client.
  • Assess and/or formulate System Safety Assurance evaluations and the Safety Assurance Management Plan, adhering to CENELEC standards, particularly EN50126, EN50128, EN50129, and EN50159.
  • Assist in evaluating the RAMS performance of products and proactively identify essential RAMS requirements to meet established targets.
  • Review and create hardware/software system analyses such as PHA, SHA, SSHA, IHA, and O&SHA utilizing safety analysis methodologies including FMECAs, FTA, ETA, RBD, and CCF.
  • Design and implement processes and procedures for effective Hazard Log Management.

Required Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience:

  • A Master’s degree in engineering, electrical engineering, or mechanical engineering.
  • At least 4 years of experience in Rail Safety and RAM.
  • Proficient knowledge of Safety and RAM engineering processes, methodologies, and tools is essential.
  • Familiarity with railway systems.
  • A proactive, adaptable personality with an open-minded approach.
  • Awareness of relevant standards such as EN50126, EN50128, EN50129, and EN50159.
  • Strong understanding of complex system architectures, functional designs, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with both internal and external technical teams, including clients and vendors.
