RAMS Specialist

Position Overview
As a key member of the RAM (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety) team at CS GROUP, your role will encompass a variety of critical responsibilities:
- Execute all necessary project RAMS activities at various levels, including system, subsystem, and equipment.
- Conduct RAMS evaluations as assigned, adhering to applicable guidelines and specific requirements agreed upon with the client.
- Review and/or create System Safety Assurance analyses and the Safety Assurance Management Plan, in accordance with CENELEC standards, particularly EN50126, EN50128, EN50129, and EN50159.
- Contribute to the evaluation of the RAMS performance of products and assist in the early identification of essential RAMS requirements to meet established targets.
- Review and develop hardware/software system analyses such as PHA, SHA, SSHA, IHA, and O&SHA utilizing safety analysis methodologies including FMECAs, FTA, ETA, RBD, and CCF.
- Formulate processes and procedures for establishing and maintaining Hazard Log Management tools.
Required Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and relevant experience:
- A Master's degree in engineering, electrical engineering, or mechanical engineering.
- At least 4 years of experience in Rail Safety and RAM.
- Proficiency in Safety and RAM engineering processes, methodologies, and tools is essential.
- Familiarity with railway systems.
- A proactive, adaptable personality with an open-minded approach.
- Knowledge of pertinent standards such as EN50126, EN50128, EN50129, and EN50159.
- Strong understanding of complex systems architectures, functional designs, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with both internal and external technical teams, including clients and vendors.
