Chief Officer and Second-in-Command

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage deckhands and other crew members
  • Maintain and repair equipment and vessels
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations
  • Collaborate with the Commanding Officer to achieve operational goals
Requirements:
  • Valid Health Canada Medical for seagoing personnel
  • Valid Canadian Passport (for identified positions)
  • Experience as a Deckhand on a commercial fishing vessel
  • Experience operating cranes, winches, and trawls
  • Experience in shore-based Fleet/Shipboard Management positions
