Key Responsibilities:

  • Initiate personalized communication with clients, fostering a trustworthy environment conducive to selling home, auto, commercial, or life insurance policies. Provide education and guidance on our offerings while complying with the company's underwriting standards.
  • Capitalize on all sales opportunities, including solicitations and product promotions.
  • Collaborate with the agency to set and achieve marketing objectives.
  • Employ a customer-centric, needs-based assessment process to inform clients about their insurance choices.

Job Requirements:

  • Previous sales experience is preferred.
  • Proven history of achieving sales targets.
  • Self-driven and motivated.
  • Ability to connect with clients effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong work ethic with a commitment to daily success.
  • Organized with problem-solving capabilities.
  • Team-oriented mindset.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Proficient in social media and technology.
  • Leadership qualities and the ability to inspire others.

Qualifications:

  • Must be able to obtain a Property and Casualty license.
  • Must be able to obtain a Life and Health license.
  • Solid understanding of social media and technology.
  • Experience in product sales.
  • College diploma in a relevant field.
  • Two years of pertinent experience.
  • Prior experience in various property and casualty insurance roles, such as underwriting, claims, sales, or service, is advantageous.

We offer flexible work-from-home options.

This position is with an independent contractor agent that is part of the Desjardins exclusive agent network, not with Desjardins Group or its subsidiaries. The employees of this agent are not employees of Desjardins. Independent contractor agents are responsible for and make all employment decisions regarding their employees.
