Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at Kojo Japanese Soul Fusion. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes to order, using a variety of cooking techniques and ingredients.
- Kitchen Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
- Cleanliness and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations and guidelines.
- Culinary Expertise: Develop and maintain expertise in Japanese cuisine, including preparation and presentation of dishes, and stay up-to-date with the latest culinary trends and techniques.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Language: Fluency in English is required.
- Availability: Availability for shift or on-call work is required.
